Qualifications / Abilities Required :

Formal Education : (experience substitution) :

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Abilities :

1 : Ability to pay close attention to detail.

2 : Must have basic math skills.

Experience :

Shipping & Receiving experience. PC knowledge required. SAP experience a plus, as well as Microsoft Word, and Excel. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

4 : Able to follow procedures and work within a team and / or independently.

5 : Ability to identify problems and find viable solutions.

Keep and verify records on incoming and outgoing shipments

• Examine outgoing shipments and make sure they conform with specifications
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials as well as supplies

Verifies shipping documents and records any discrepancies.

Maintains proper documentation and records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Efficiently picks customer orders for shipment ensuring that the order is complete, accurate, and free of damage.

• Prints and places shipping labels on materials.
• Assists with monthly cycle counts as required.

Complies with company standard operating procedures, safety policies, and OSHA standards.

Prepares shipping / receiving documents. Maintains appropriate documentation.

• Prepares various reports and correspondence as required.
• Performs other duties as required

Prepare Shipping & Receiving paperwork for :

Inbound lumber

Finished goods shipments

And other Warehouse materials

• Shipping Responsibilities :
• Work with Site Warehouse Dept. forklift drivers to maintain material organization.
• Efficiently and accurately help in the shipment of outgoing materials.
• Escalate Finished Goods material concerns (non-confirming) to leadership.
• Follow-up on late units that are pending shipments with leadership.
• Manage outbound traffic flow to ensure safe and efficient handling of all materials.
• Receiving Responsibilities :
• Receive incoming Warehouse materials.
• Verify incoming materials for accuracy.
• Unload, tag, and stage materials with Warehouse forklift drivers.
• Manage inbound traffic flow to ensure safe and efficient handling of all Warehouse products.
• Escalate Received Material concerns (non-confirming) to leadership.
